Great Value near Amenities
helpful host spacious room off-street parking
The staff helped a lot. The host was very helpful. Off-street parking access proved a big bonus. The team arranged the room I was in and told me where to find a key and all the access details.
The headboard was stained and the TV did not work. The remote was held together with gaffer tape. I think the hotel is dated.
Service

Convenient Location and Functional Accommodation
central location comfortable bed quiet room cooling fan
The hotel is a short, pleasant walk to the center of the town. I found the bed very comfortable with a perfect mattress (. Being on the top floor, my room remained quiet throughout my stay. A fan was included. I appreciated it for keeping the air cool at night.
The main door to the building remains open at night, I found this not suitable.
Rooms
8/10
The room included basic tea and coffee making facilities and a TV that worked immediately (the manager even came up to make sure it was working). The room decor was dated, I would say.
Service
9/10
The staff member who checked me in was friendly and helpful during my arrival and departure. When I required assistance with the television, the manager came to my room and resolved the issue promptly.
Dining
8/10
While the hotel doesn't have extensive dining, there's a basic microwave in the hallway entrance. The location made accessing the town's many cafes and restaurants convenient (I did appreciate that).
Facilities
9/10
Off-road parking is available at the hotel, quite useful if you are travelling by car, there is a fee of £15 per night. The hotel location is convenient and very well connected to local attractions.
